That calculation confused me as well. What were the 800 Pounds for? Rent? That can't be true. And 1000 pounds for everything else is also not nearly enough. UK might actually be the most expensive place to study in Europe.

There were a couple of times a couple of years ago where I asked demi to ban or delete my account and he didn't.

I guess if you really don't want to be here then don't post. I guess the fact that I'm here now is a sign that deleting the account probably meant that I would have most likely re-registered under a different name and nothing would have changed.

Also, Spencer should relax. The Bore shouldn't be taken seriously by any definition or measure. Sure, there are some snarky shitheads that roam about but nerds will always try to have some type of shit list or power structure, mostly because they were on the bottom of the totem pole themselves in high school (or still are). Once you realize how useless and transparent it all is, the more fun you'll probably have on the boards. I know for a while it pissed me off how icons would flap their hands at the most minor shit but it seems like that is pretty much gone. To be honest, I think these are pretty good times here at The Bore. I think Willco leaving is probably the culprit.

The wife and I stopped by the Cheesecake Factory tonight to get some cake to go. Was insanely crowded, as expected. We get to the counter and are next in line when some girl walks over in front of everyone and says "Oh, I'm not cutting in line...I just want to look at the calorie chart." The people in front of us get their stuff and leave, then her boyfriend just rushes up to the counter and starts ordering. I let out a loud "what the FUCK!?" that apparently everyone heard except for the couple and my wife. She's all pissed and wants to go, but I just tell her to calm down. The woman behind the counter is watching this, but says nothing and takes their order. I tap the girl on the shoulder and say "thanks for cutting in front of us!" She doesn't apologize and just goes "oh, didn't see you there," even though she had just walked in front of us earlier. Both of them look freaked out and they wait as far away from the counter as possible for their order.

I ignored them at this point but my wife said they kept staring at me with this shocked look on their faces. It's weird since all I do all day is deal with people who make you want to bash your head against the wall, but I always keep my cool. Yet I lost it ordering some fucking cake.

Also overheard some woman talking, saying "who goes to Applebee's on Valentine's Day!? That's like something a teenager would do!" Yeah lady, 'cause The fuckin' Cheesecake Factory is a classy joint that the bourgeoisie cannot afford and dare not enter.
