I am excited. Had cats growing up on a farm (dogs too) but havent had one as an adult. My daughter is going to be super surprised when she gets home tomorrow.

I do understand the home visit for dogs since they need proper fencing and stuff like that. This shelter even has horses and that makes even more sense. Just had never heard of anyone doing it for cats.

I think cats is a relatively new thing and only some shelters do it. It's kind of understandable at this point given some people have far too many, others take some to try to do shady breeding, and some are just abusive towards animals.
