Well my friend has gone from being a barista, to working an office job, to working on luxury yachts as a deck handa, to working sales, to nursing, back to sales.. and probably a few major changes I can't remember, at least 2-3 of those were "passions" and trying to avoid "office jobs." Creative is the one place that still supports placement if you've got the skills, regardless of education. If you need to learn how to do it, that's one thing. If you can do it but want a degree to prove it, that's a waste of time.Ironically, the Japanese placement is more likely to be an impediment. If a company lists a requirement here, they're more likely to follow that guideline despite common sense showing that the candidate can actually communicate.
