Walked to a Lidl that's next to a pretty suspicious looking industrial area, and while walking by some factory in the darkness and rain I notice something black and shiny on the ground next to the sidewalk. I go nearer and see that it's a woman's boot. I thought it looked so odd and out of place I went to take a picture of it. While taking the photo I notice another boot, but it was partly buried in the ground. Not weird at all.

I kicked around the dirt a bit in case I find a body but nah $:-\$ Maybe I should go back with a shovel

What's a good place (city or province) for immigrants in Canada? I'm thinking about trying an IT job there, but everything seems cool and beautiful there, so it's hard to decide.

Those do seem to be the two choices. If you like US West coast then Vancouver is a good fit. If you like the least coast then Toronto.

I see. Well, Toronto and Vancouver definitely are the more recommended places, but I wondered if that's not an option like to recommend San Francisco for tech people in US. I mean, most of the destinations in US and Canada would be better than where I am at the moment (Brazil), but I also hear horror stories about how impossible it is to live in San Francisco due to prices and over population of tech people lol.

I have no doubts about that. It's just that I need to move somewhere that I'll be able to afford. I also don't plan to move without a job ready for me, so I'll be starting to search for a job there soon. My first option is Canada though, as it seems quite friendly for immigration and I have some friends there (all in Toronto and Vancouver).

I use MM in SAP but my knowledge is limited. I tend to use googlefu when I have questions.

So I was on desolate road, double solid line Massachusetts backroad. As I was cruising along at 45mph some car behind me keot flashing its lights at me. Getting up to me, then backing off. It was creepy as fuck. Eventually I broke the double lines, around some car that was going the limit. went 100mph in a 50mph zones just to get away from this person. Slowed down once I was nearing the next town where a townie cop was just chilling in a 35mph zone. Eventually this asshole just turned off some side street never to be seem again by me. Some Bethesda radiant quest bullshit.

That sounds like the average way it’s ran and it’s due to SAP’s core design philosophy of modules and bolt on products, then smash that together with the customization requirements of any large organization and it equals a clusterfuck.

I'm visiting my parents for the holidays (I live in a different city and don't get to visit often) and was going to stay until after new year's but damn at this atmosphere here, maybe I should just leave tomorrow. I guess nice, relaxing adult christmases are over and from now on it's just my mom slaving away on her own, my sister and her hubby lying on the sofa and bickering while I, a noted child disliker, have to watch after my sister's little nightmare children (well just the one now but I just learned another one is on the way) and thus can't help my mom with anything. And my dad just sits there on the sofa all day with my sis and her dude and like them, will not lift a finger to help anyone.

Even now when my sister's family are not here my mom is so on edge just waiting for them to invite themselves over for the whole weekend and NYE she's absolutely miserable to be around. The next few days will be so fucking annoying and I'd just want to relax for once. I really think I should just bail (sorry mom).

Maybe next year I should just go abroad for christmas and take my mom with me.

But since I'm the kid's favorite person (how the hell does every single kid I know seem to love me when I'm always super uncomfortable around them) he's constantly calling my name if I'm in another room and then comes and finds me and starts dragging me to go play with him. I feel bad for my mom since they apparently do this almost every day and my mom can't ever get shit done or go anywhere. Of course my sister's hubby's parents are some sort of weirdos who have said that they will never watch the kid so my mom's the only babysitter they have since I don't live here. My mom's gonna have a nervous breakdown when baby #2 comes.

Hmm actually, pretty much every cat I meet seems to like me too. Even the ones that are scared of strangers according to their owners. I like cats but I don't like to get too handsy with them or approach them instead of letting them come to me after getting too many sudden bites and scratches as a kid.

Maybe it's the same thing with kids, since I like to keep my distance and don't go all goo goo ga ga and pinching their cheeks and whatever people who love kids do, kids are drawn to me since I don't annoy them. So I should start acting creepy around kids, eh
