The game's not exactly creative, but I want another Custom Robo. Probably won't happen until Nintendo hardware stops selling well and they're forced to throw everything they can at a wall. Which is to say R.I.P. Custom Robo.

I guess 3DS could get a port of the Gamecube game, but that might make too much sense.

Where did I say Nintendo didn't make ANY creative games in the N64 and Gamecube era?

They clearly did.

But etiolate says Sony games were overrated when in fact, Sony topped Nintendo in every area in that time period whether it was publisher or developer.

Also, Sony published Rule of Rose in Japan. I said publisher/developer. So bringing up third parties that developed for Sony is irrelevant as the same is true for Eternal Darkness and SK.

The only F-Zero I liked was GX.

I think F-zero for SNES was probably my most played game of that era that I actually hated. "Let's go play F-Zero!" "No!.....okay....."

I'll readily admit Nintendo wasn't on fire during N64, GameCube, and even GBA.

My personal feeling is that Wii and DS were much much better in terms of first-party output.

GBA was okay but lazy. That said, they did Rhythm Tengoku (which was unreleased in the west) and Warioware, which to me, are among the height of video game creativity.

And compared to his heyday not really and its more of a team thing now so its more like he's popular by association (kinda like a boy band lol).  I would call that popular though (his toys sell at least) and i think because of that he would attract a higher price, hell instead of just him they could want to add some of the other skylanders also.

But, how seriously do I take games?  Like, nowadays?  Not very.  Just under two years ago I lost my job, set up my own business (which is not terribly easy for a solo foreigner), I work seven days a week running the thing, and I'm getting married in August.  I don't really have time to stay on top of gaming anymore, and it honestly doesn't really bother me that I don't.  Most of my gaming time is playing games with my soon-to-be stepson, and as I'm not a manbaby, we play what he wants to play.

I still love gaming, of course.  I love the hobby.  I love playing stuff.  But, y'know, it's not really about me anymore.  Or maybe you don't know.  But all the Bore dads know what I mean.  Sure, I come on here and bust chops for shits and giggles between appointments and classes, or when I'm on the shitter.  But, real talk?  The last couple of years I've learned a lot of things about priorities and about how I want my internal state to be, and as a result, I've seriously mellowed out.
