Those of us from rural south know how to handle toilet paper shortage. Eat more corn on the cob! The corn isn't important, but the cobs are free and work great! (Just don't flush them!) You're welcome!

Comparing Luigi's Mansion to Siren and Rule of Rose is a bit of a stretch.

"Nintendo didn't make ANY creative games during the N64 and Gamecube days! Except for all the ones that I forgot."
Would you really consider Spyro popular? I don't think he's even in the Skylanders sequel, is he? It felt more like a Rayman Raving Rabbids situation.
I'd like to see them develop one with dark content.

Walugi's mansion. all grimdark n shit

Oh and Stump is fricking awesome, commuted my ban to just a week.
So, Nintendo's actually published 3 horror games recently, 4 if you want to count Luigi's Mansion.

I would call that popular though (his toys sell at least) and i think because of that he would attract a higher price, hell instead of just him they could want to add some of the other skylanders also.
I didn't leave because of Donkey Kong, but I'm glad you bought the cover story. I'm really shocked so many actually believed I left over an argument about Donkey Kong, but I'm constantly finding myself pleasantly surprised at the average gamer's ability to limbo under my low expectations.

In 3D!
Yeah made ET, too. Not exactly know to be only gritty. Whereas Nintendo has always maintained a family friendly image by design. Also this argument is stupid. Videogames are for having fun -- whatever that means to the gamer personally.
to tell the truth, I felt kind of bad at the time cuz the guy caught serious shit from other posters about chasing me away. He sent me a PM apologizing profusely and I told him not to worry about it, and explained vaguely why I was really cutting out. The real reason I left was a huge pile of stupid drama and it can be found on these boards if you're inclined to search hard enough.
I still love gaming, of course. I love the hobby. I love playing stuff. But, y'know, it's not really about me anymore. Or maybe you don't know. But all the Bore dads know what I mean. Sure, I come on here and bust chops for shits and giggles between appointments and classes, or when I'm on the shitter. But, real talk? The last couple of years I've learned a lot of things about priorities and about how I want my internal state to be, and as a result, I've seriously mellowed out.
That's a pretty bad argument.Martin Scorsese just recently made Hugo. A family film. This is from the same guy who made a film about a mentally ill skinhead who tries to assassinate a politician, stalks a woman, and takes her to a porn theatre.Steven Spielberg just recently put out Tin Tin. This, from the same guy who made Munich and Shindler's List.
Sony made Siren.
Quote from: Stringer Bell on April 27, 2012, 01:38:10 PMSony made Siren. There. Now was that so hard? And the game you're looking for is Famicom Detective Club.

Whats that ps2 co-op horror game that starts in a high school with 4 chars that is also on PSP?

I'm really shocked so many actually believed I left over an argument about Donkey Kong, but I'm constantly finding myself pleasantly surprised at the average gamer's ability to limbo under my low expectations. But, how seriously do I take games? Like, nowadays? Not very. Just under two years ago I lost my job, set up my own business (which is not terribly easy for a solo foreigner), I work seven days a week running the thing, and I'm getting married in August. I don't really have time to stay on top of gaming anymore, and it honestly doesn't really bother me that I don't. Most of my gaming time is playing games with my soon-to-be stepson, and as I'm not a manbaby, we play what he wants to play.I still love gaming, of course. I love the hobby. I love playing stuff. Like I said, we all do it sometimes. But I would say it's considerably more rare than you guys probably figure due to the joke character I put on here most of the time. I just don't have the fire in my belly anymore. I guess what I'm saying is, a five? Out of ten? Yeah, a five out of ten is good, I guess.Sorry for breaking character, folks.

We'll already have enough generic characters thanks to Killzone, Resistance, and Uncharted needing to be repped.

I already bought the games a long time ago though. That's why it didn't trip my piracy senses. I've already gotten 98% of the enjoyment I'll get out of most of them.
I skip the middleman and don't even bother buying the games, I just go straight to downloading the rips of them. I give zero fucks.
Andrex is Costanza?Mind explode.
