twin snakes was kinda bad but that didn't stop me from playing it like 10 times or some shit
<---------------- metal gear whore
Sorry himu but a true metal gear whore would finish TS once, drop it in the garbage and continue playing the superior ps1 version.
TTS is not garbage.
Though the cutscenes are ridiculous and the new VA's aren't as good, the core game is still pretty solid. The main issue with the game is the aiming as it makes boss fights too easy. The original game was not designed around MGS2 controls. That said, when I first started playing the game when I initially got it, I kept fucking dying over and over and over adjusting to the controls.
However, other than that, the game is just groovy and actually improves upon the original in almost every category, mostly in aiming. Shooting in the original game is ass. There's also the part where you have to backtrack to get all three card keys which I have always HATED. Thankfully in MGS: TTS you can make that trip shorter.
Also, dogtags. Dogtags, bitch.
Beat that shit on every mode, speed running, no kills, no alerts, dog tag runs. Fuck yes.
That's what a real MGS fan did with the Twin Snakes. Only a dumbass would completely trash the game and go back to the original like it's perfect. If KojiPro released an HD version the game with the original cutscenes intact, with hd models, and modern bells and whistles and better voice acting, with a more balanced aiming system, it would be THE (second) best Metal Gear Solid (after Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance). The reason I put MGS2 over MGS1 these days is not only the gameplay but the controls. MGS2 controls like butter sliding across a knife; it's so simple. MGS1...lol, is outddated city.
