they're mostly made for message boards who have centralized posts, not like neogaf where you can literally post anything or any news item as a new post.

I like having a specific thread someones updating with stuff about specific games and news. As a news aggregate forums can be pretty great, especially if OPs update their OP with specific info and gaf minions are pretty good at that, no need to go past the OP

This post is fun. I like how spending a couple hundred bucks makes a person fiscally irresponsible. How much are games again? I'd argue that if you *don't* have a couple hundred bucks you can throw around somewhat trivially at any particular moment, that's a much bigger problem.

Also you can get a 360 and a PS3 now for less than a day-one PS3 buyer got that console with no games on it. Sooo I wonder what he thinks about those types.
