I apologize for the edits.  It was wrong, ethically.  What's done is done.  No excuse for such behavior.  I agree with Evilore.

For the note, it was STILL a rare occurrence and those few times were based on some truly outrageous comments from people saying the 3D on DS was better than next-gen games or other such really incredibly unbelievable comments.  But there's no excuse for this behavior and I'm glad I am no longer a mod because obviously it was constricting my ability to participate in conversations without having everyone say "yo, you're a mod".

I am not intent on 'proving' my point.  People always think it's about proving things.  It's just about opening up conversation and learning new perspectives.  Nobody is going to convince anybody else that they're wrong about their closely held beliefs.

I can't check the ban list now, but that's almost certainly not true.  At least, it likely wasn't for that reason specifically.  Maybe something related to how you were behaving about the ad, trolling or something.

I realize people got a lot of wrong ideas about why I banned them because they were always saying I banned them for this or that and then when I check the ban list, it was for a completely different reason.

My perspectives aren't new.  Why would they be?  It's hearing new angles on old perspectives, I suppose is a better way of saying it.  And not from me, but from others.  I know what I think about things.  What can I learn from that?  I want to learn new things from people who don't think like me.

I'm not allowed to say obviously... only one of your bans is by someone who is no longer a mod (someone else) and your other ban is also by someone who isn't me.



Because I've heard far more people say the 3DS effect is exactly as bad as the 3D on the FujiFilm camera and everyone I know in person who has a 3DS agrees.  So, obviously, I'm going to take my suspicions being confirmed by people I do know than by people I don't.  I've heard the vast majority of people discuss how bad the 3DS sweetspot is even before I got into the conversation.

So, until we have a scientific study we won't know the break down, but I don't agree with you.

I can't deny feeling a bit sad for the state he's in, the piling-on is gonna be epic, but I guess he had it coming. Also, he never struck me as someone who's open to change, thanks to his massive ego and lack of self-awareness, so I don't think we'll be a major change in his routine if he continues posting, but I wonder if other mods will truly treat him just like any other member, and strike him down if he crosses those usual lines.

I sorta convinced pedophilia isn't a choice. Sexual attraction to what we now consider minors has been prevalent in human history and that has been passed down genetically and culturally. Right now there are four type of pedophiles. The ones that try to suppress themselves. The ones that look at pornography. The ones that force themselves on children. The ones that 'pay' for sex with a minor. The last three deserve damnation. The ones that try to suppress themselves try therapy or whatever, deserve some sympathy. You could argue the ones that look at pornography don't comprehend the full situation either.
