My problem with sexposition is that it reveals that the writers are not confident in their audience to understand or retain information without throwing sex on the screen; in that sense it's a rather condescending, weak writing tool. I tend to think that if information cannot be expressed without distraction, it most likely doesn't need to be included in the show.
There's a scene with a character is in a bathtub with a naked slave, naming various dragons (that died hundreds of years ago). The show had already established that dragons existed in the world, I saw no point in forcing such a weak scene.
Of course, the worst offender is a horrible brothel scene where a character explains his master plan/agenda alongside his backstory, while coaching two whores on how to convincingly fuck customers. It's one of the absolutely worst scenes I've ever seen on a "serious" television show
Giden's acting/accent is horrible, and it feels like a tacked on scene to fill an HBO nudity quota
