someone who decided to commit suicide seriously inconvenienced me last week. i was trying to go into downtown zürich with my husband when some dude decided to jump in front of a train. bam, everything delayed for like 3 hours while they cleaned the entrails and body parts off of everything. i was forced to take a train that goes to the airport first, further delaying my plans! the nerve of some people...
Been there, train stood in a field for three hours until the fire department could come and hose down the train, and then they tried to cram everyone from a large intercity train into a small stopping train, which they unsurprisingly failed at.
what about the dude driving the train? nobody ever thinks of the dude driving the train. :'(
Yeah, I read once that in NL, every train driver on average sees more than one suicide in his career :/. Of course that's always bad, it's worse when you hear about assholes who kill themselves
and their kids that way. Try going to work again after that :/. Head conductor on a train also has a shit job in that he has to go outside and confirm what happened, so he gets to see the results of it all :/.
That thread is no fun without the outrage. I hope some mod like Kabouter or someone goes in and bans every single person who says that the joke is funny.
