I'm convinced my brother is asexual. He has had 1 girlfriend all his life (thanks to me introducing them, it was a girl I met off match but wasn't into but I guess he kinda liked when I brought her to a party) and never goes out looking for girls or goes on dates. He's not as social as me and not nearly as much of a partier, but not "I'm sexually and emotionally unfit for a relationship with another human being" level. He could stand to be much less uptight though.

i thought i was asexual, but i really just don't have sexual cravings that much.  i can get into relationships and then something wakes up in me and i'm doin' it 3 times a day.  but when I'm not in relationships, i'm pretty indifferent towards being in one or not.    Doesn't help that I think I've already had the best sex of my life.

The character design has some of that wacky, power puff girls quality.  I don't know about the writing.  It's also new, so there's that obsession with newness, untaintedness...but none of that really explains it.  it's just some weird shit that happened.

i'm just happy it's not Adventure Time.  since that show is legitimately good and funny, with lots of humor for stoned grown-ups.

MLP fans are social fuckups. There's no way around it. Complete failures at life. They always try to compare it to being gay (wtf) or being into videogames, but its not even on the same level. Being into videogames (to a certain degree of normality) is socially acceptable. I wonder how it feels to their friends or parents when they reveal their passion to them.

Everybody here knows that I love anime [probably the most of anyone on this board], so it's not like I have a whole lot of room to talk here, BUT there's a difference between watching and liking anime, and going full bore into transforming your life into some grotesque anime-inspired half-existence where you run out to toy stores to pick up the latest figures, have body pillows with female characters, celebrate the birthdays of fictional characters, and become obsessed with this bizarre notion of sexual purity of said fictional characters. That's the place where some of the MLP crowd have gone to. It's basically a rejection of reality and a desire to live in a fantasy world full of characters that will never hurt or betray them and will always remain pure and "untouched."

Started watching anime when I was 4 or 5 or so with Captain Tsubasa (late 80's or early 90's). Watched many TV shows from there ranging from maya the bee, mysterious cities of gold, sabre rider, robotech etc By the time I was 10 I started actively seeking out anime communities online so I have been tainted for life lol
