Because I am suffocated in a white guilt shithole every day, I don't need it online.

30 minutes into the pre-show countdown, I assume you mean.
Paul Robinson @Topottsel@NeoGAF Damn shame, hope someone is getting sued over this, must be losing one of your highest ad revenue days this year.

Mutes strikes me as someone who's really enjoying his modship. A complete 180 in attitude compared to Stump, Charlequin, Aeana, Nirolak, EC, Cyan, Kabotour, Minsc, etc.
I'm really shocked that a funny pic thread has drama. Gaf has really become the worse community out there.
Fucker doesn't even pretend not to be power tripping. He keeps posting that modabuse.jpg comic. And no, no one simps on you Devolution.I dunno if that's a compliment or a diss, so you're either better off or not.
Aguirre ugh.Why are people giving the troll so much attention? He's even one of the main conversational points here, and you guys should know better.
We had a really awful combination, today, of unprecedented traffic (expected, of course) and the physical failure of one of our database servers at the worst possible time. We're on 50% power with the database servers right now. Keep in mind that each one of them is really strong, but we hit an i/o hard wall during the conference and shortly after because of that. Entire internet was spamming F5.I'm having gromph redeploy our database tomorrow to even more powerful servers, essentially the most ridiculous array possible, no expense spared to round out any possible weakness, to try to prepare us better for what's to come. Major, major disappointment that we were down for almost the entire conference. It would be great if we could use an elastic solution to dynamically address load with no upper limit, like Amazon EC2, but apparently that's not viable for our setup.
maybe some people here really wanted to wife Aguirre and got mad when they found out it was a joke character?
This isn't traditional journalism, where the protection of whistle blowers is deeply rooted in the integrity of the institution. Even matters of national security become under scrutiny if the leak pertains to information that undermines the public trust. On the other hand, I find it extremely disturbing that gaming media will go out of their way to solicit "tips" and provide anonymity to people who are breaking NDAs and doing nothing but harm to the companies they leak information from. If someone emailed the Coca-Cola recipe to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution I have no doubt that they'd notify Coca-Cola immediately; if someone emailed Gaming Site X with detailed Durango technical specs, it's suddenly front page news. And of course, typically the victim company will ask the site to retract the leak--which of course (ignore the hype amplificaton caused by such a move) Gaming Site X would likely refuse to pull. What justifies the blatant disrespect for the companies they cover, and why does the gaming community love to stick it up to the man despite the clear ethical issues here?
Plenty of other gaf ladies they can attempt to wife instead.Stay away from trab though, it looks like Deaf-mod might be particularly simpish towards her.I wonder if he'll be willing to turn vegetarian to appease his waifu.

Sounds to me like Evilore should fire Groomph and hire a proper sysadmin.
I don't know shit about sysadmining but would he be limited by whatever shitass database they want to keep?

I think one of the forums I was on they just archived a section offsite and updated fresh.
I've never seen a GAF mod so insistent on mentioning he's a mod. It's like every other post. It's not gonna get you laid dude! Ease off it.

I didnt know the site was down. It's up now, quit whining.
