Bacon cheese burger with lettuce, onion, mayo, and ketchup with Cajun fried from 5 guys. It just opened Monday.

Most californians pronounce it "foh" but I have heard it's closer to "fao" or "fah" -- most of the gwailo-targeted places use "foh" pronunciation to make puns: "pho sure" etc.

Went to Oktoberfest in Tennoji park; short first line was for Lowenbrau. Yeah. I know. The sausages were good.

After that, we bailed for a small pub which has Minoh beer from just north of Osaka. They had a double-IPA that was double-OMG. Very nice. I had two pints of that, and a half and half. The bar also does pub food, so we had Iberico ham and fish and chips. The barkeep mixed the batter for fish-and-chips right in front of me: some flour and a stout, with fresh, flaky cod dipped in it.

Tonight was pretty damned great.
