Co op is borked or something is wrong with this game. For one if you skip 1 cutscene it'll seemingly automatically skip ALL cutscenes in the game, and as stated, you can't go back and view them again. WTF.

Also performance is fucking yonkers on high end machines. Volition

Also wanna clarify this for co-op people:

*Each perosn is shown their own character in the cutscene, not yours or both of them.

*The radio station in the car isn't shared so you can't make it so you kill bros to SPORTS

game is fun otherwise, but some real stupid design decisions and horrid performance mean people hsould be BUYER BEWARE

yeah that sucks.... I read there multiple choices in some of the missions, e.g you can choose to take over a building, or destroy it, and the choice will persist across the whole game. I'm guessing thats why you can't replay missions in this one. There are also achievements tied to these, so the game will require a replay for 1000. Not that that's a bad thing! I'll go for 100% takeover etc. in my first game, then in the 2nd play I'll make the other choices for the achievements. Although, you could probably rig it up with a co-op partner to join each others games and get the cheevs. I dunno.

If you have a nVidia card and drivers older than 285.62 try and upgrade to those at least. My frame rate jumped quite a bit after upgrading.

This is sooooooo good.

I love how stupidly vertical the city is. I agree with whatever review noted the areas aren't as visually distinct as in 2. You can't necessary tell where you are just from what buildings are around at first, I don't really have an issue because of my weird OCD visual mapping "skill" but my one co-op friend couldn't figure out 2's map so he'll have even more problems in this. (And I'm sure we'll have great fun as he asks "where are you going?" every fifteen seconds as I race through the map again.)

Only complaints so far are the pop-up with vehicles (it was sometimes bad in 2 for insurance fraud, but seems worse here, spawn cars dammit) and how you can't ram gas station tanks anymore. I'm totally missing out on hitting the one down the road from the saints hideout at top speed to send the car flipping end over end onto roofs or highways.

Don't believe so. At least not that I recall on the PC version. Been a while though.

They did away with the music shops and now you just have a mixtape you can make, that I can tell.

The rpg elements are even better in this one. Every ability costs $$$ and I have such little $$$ so it makes the upgrade system even more fun. Plus, so many shops and cribs to buy. I was going to get the air hangar but it's like 15,000.

I love how you get new missions from the cell phone. No driving to a mission start point, just go to your phone click mission and you instantly start the new mission.

The way they've streamlined the game is fantastic. You get gps indicators on the game itself so you don't have to look at a teeny tiny map all the time while driving. I love how you don't even have to drive to Rim Jobs anymore to customize your car. In your garage just go to Customize and voila -- Rim Jobs! -- spoilers and under glows and nitrous are just a click away.

Assassination missions are a lot better now because they're more than; 1. Go here, 2. look for this guy and kill him. You have to actually fill out some variables this time, like having specific vehicles.

Speaking of vehicles! They feel so weighty now. It's like this mix of GTAIV and SR1/2. It's weighty like GTAIV but not shit! But it's still arcadey like SR1/2 so it's pretty awesome.

Very nice, fucking fun. Insurance Fraud is still a blast, and Tank Mayhem is

Professor Genki's activity is so FUN. Cannot wait to play this on co-op.
