I think some custom ati card makes perfect sense. Ms prob went to them pointing at some card saying we want this shit, when will it be ready with this heat/wattage size.

Or ati jus showed them what they are cooking and ms bought some exclusivity for a while on one of the cards.

That leaves the hdd. Would love some small ssd, but that aint gonna happen eh. 64gb ssd with an upgrade slot for a custom ms hdd if you need more space sold seperately...

Hope that next gen will bring something more then just great graphics, i like how this gen made online gaming a normal thing on consoles. It will certainly be more expensive than current models but i think the tech is there already.No need for some alien solutions.

I guess 4K is a natural progression of TVs.If industry can get them to reasonable prices they can just discontinue current models.

Is it that much extra cost? doesn't sound like it'd be anything more than a bullet point since there's no 4K content. but then again, the PS3 supports 3D 1080p blu-ray playback and I don't think that existed in 2006.

No chance games will support that resolution, unless we're talking PS2 4K releases, because we all know that's coming.
