One 1080p display = 2,073,600 pixels
One 720p display = 921,600 pixels
The Wii U tablet display (854x480) = 409,920 pixels

2x Wii U tablet controller displays + main 720p display = 1,741,440 pixels, still less than a 1080p display

Resident Evil 0, REmake, and RE 4. Viewtiful Joe, Monkey Ball series, MGS Twin Snakes (shitty but still the only Metal Gear on Nintendo console since the NES), Final Fantasy CC, Tales games, PN 03, and probably other stuff I can't think of right now. Plus, you had the 1st party stuff done by 3rd parties like F-Zero GX, and the updated Sega ports like Sonic and Skies of Arcadia, and then a version of about every multiplatform game. The only 3rd party thing they were left out of was GTA and the mainline FFs.
