ravens escaped that game...without playing well at all in the second half.  And they got lucky as fuck with that awful no-call on the last niners play

Niners should have won.

Niners and "should have" don't belong in the same sentence. They were on their way to a blowout before the freak blackout, then almost came back only to lose a close game. They didn't deserve shit

....yet they came back and dominated the ravens the entire second half.  They would have won that game if that stupid no-call didn't happen, it's as simple as that.  Forget about the blackout, Kaep, Gore, and Davis were shitting all over the Ravens D in the second half, the blackout doesn't matter.

The fact that they came back 28-6 to make it 28-23...in the matter of 4:10...is insane.  They had the momentum, and a terrible no-call killed it.

but whatever, it was a good game and ray lewis is finally away from my eyes

The Niners were moving the ball on offense the whole game. The score looked like a blowout, but it was mostly a few mistakes and that kickoff return. They cut out the turnovers and mistakes in the second half and finally made something off it. I don't think they took advantage of what they could do on that final drive. They got fucked by refs as well. In the end, this game was a lot like the Niners other losses where they looked like they weren't focused early on.

Flacco in the playoffs this year: 11 TD's 0 INT's.  :o
The only other QB with zero picks in the playoffs was Cousins, but he had just ten attempts.

Is your team hungry for a QB? How bout a big slab of JaMarcus Russell in 2013? He comes garnished with a side of Jeff Garcia.

The benefits of being a good organization. They've got the money to pull it off, and they've drafted well for years. Finding guys like Sherman and others, stacking that team on offense and defense to the point where they can spend money to add that last piece or two for a Super Bowl run.

Meanwhile the Lions have wasted most of their recent drafts. Sure we hit jackpot with our first picks recently (Suh, Stafford, Megatron) but you're supposed to hit jackpot on those picks; can't really brag about that. Where are the second and third round finds, or fourth and fifth round guys who can get on the field?

It's a shame because I'm starting to wonder whether we're going to waste Megatron's prime years rebuilding.

Certainly, but the problem is we continue to chase after older players while never addressing the defense; we literally don't have a secondary, and we have one good LB. I'd rather sign someone like Chris Ivory who will demand less money and is a similar RB to Bush, if I HAD to get an RB. Our running game's biggest problem isn't lack of RB depth, it's an old O-line that can't open any holes for anyone; I don't see how a 28 year old Reggie Bush fixes that. Sure he'll be explosive in the pass game with Megatron being double teamed but I'd rather get a defensive player in FA.

Detroit radio is talking up us getting Bush plus safety LaRon Landry. If we land both I'll be less upset with the Bush thing. If we come out of FA with only Bush I'll be very disappointed.

Bush to Lions for 4yrs, 16mil. The money/contract isn't bad but at the same time that could have gone to defense; I think Joquie Bell is as good as Bush, we just need a better o-line to create some holes.

Can't get too upset. We signed a good safety that I wanted, and got a DT. The offense should be very good this year but I'm still concerned about this defense. The draft will be VERY important.

Jahvid Best helped this team look amazing on offense in 2011, I'd imagine Bush will do the same

True, a drop ball won't be a problem for Welker in the playoffs--it's hard to drop a Manning pass already intercepted.

The picture makes no sense as both players can only have two cards and those three cards in the middle are community cards.

I check on that flop all day long with pocket kings. You're in a way ahead or way behind situation and the board is very dry. Checking manipulates Pete Carroll's range while minimizing your losses against Acex.

Robert Griffin III's recovery from knee surgery has been "unbelievable," Dr. James Andrews told ESPN's Stephania Bell on Friday.

"I've been real mum on talking too much about RG III. He wants his recovery to be fairly private, but I can tell you he's way ahead of schedule. His recovery has been unbelievable so far," Andrews told ESPN.

"RG III is one those superhumans. First patient I ever had like that was Bo Jackson. And recently I, of course, had Adrian Peterson, who is also superhuman. They have an unbelievable ability to recover, where as a normal human being may not be able to recover."

How's DeCastro recovering? I remember folks thinking he was a better pick than Riley Reiff (who the Lions picked earlier in the first round, and hasn't contributed much of anything).

He actually came back late November of last season. He looked great at times and like a rookie at other times, but overall he was serviceable. I think he'll develop into a decent enough lineman. I'm more worried about our other top pick, Mike Adams, who couldn't seem to stay healthy and looked completely lost at times. While some linemen are capable of stepping in and dominating from day 1, other's take a year or two to round into shape. Hopefully both of them make decent strides after some experience and a full off season under their belts.

Yea the o-line is tough for rookies. The Lions are definitely going to be in a rough spot this season on o-line due to Jeff Backus retiring; we could end up starting 2-3 guys with limited or no experience. Dunno where they plan on putting Reiff, he can play guard or either tackle. And we'll likely be taking that Central Michigan tackle at #5...if he's still on the board of course.

So yea while I'm excited about getting Bush, even if I still believe we should have looked for a DE instead, our line will struggle opening holes for him IMO
