So on the subject of Resident Evil SIX-
Started the Jake/Sherri route of the story mode and played the first two and half chapters. Took a few hours, counting the intro/tutorial portion with Leon and Helena.
With just a minor spoiler, I thought the game started off kind of "OK," went to complete SHIT during a snow level (it's not that fun when you can't see what the hell is going on, Capcom), then got better. Lots of game play variety, too, with action scenes, stealth scenes, and even some genuine "survival horror" style segments.
The biggest problems I have with the game so far are with the camera (it's too close) and with some of the boss encounters. There was one boss fight that took me forever to clear-- not because it was difficult, but instead because the game didn't give the best direction of what to do, and I kept running out of ammo and the stun rod/melee was useless. Thankfully the CPU had an endless supply of bullets and helped me to clear it.
I can definitely see why this game is getting trashed in reviews, but at the same time I'm starting to like it a bit more than I did when I initially started playing.
