You can summarize GAF's fashion sense with that one dude who thought he looked good in a black suit with a red shirt. And people defended him after he was called out on it.

So yeah, all of those things are true, but...like they would ever listen. 90% of what that type of person wears is what they think looks cool in anime.

*I can say this with experience. I went with my wife to a dealership christmas fete (her mother works at one), and all the sales guys were wearing shapeless black suits and power shirts (bright red, blue or yellow) and noxious striped ties.

reading that thread some more.. non-black suits look gross. navy only goes with blue. 'i rock black suits'.

tbh most of what I wear looks like it was pulled from the Ben Wyatt wardrobe on Parks & Rec. So it's not like I'm walking around James Bond'd up. But I mean, come on.

It's always weird to me that they call bright and flashy shirts "power shirts". Seems obvious that you should never let your shirt be more noticeable than you.

80% of my closet is grey, not even an exaggeration. you should mix it up with warm, cold, and light greys bb 

IMO, navy makes you look entry level. Gray or charcoal. Black is fine if it looks good on you.

maybe it's regional but i don't see navy very often at all in the pacnw. black is hte most common, followed by charcoal.

At PAX they had this booth for a company called Geek Chic. They specialize in custom furniture for tabletop gaming and stuff. Pretty cool stuff. This year they had top hats tho. Super dumb looking.
