Last week, two days in a row I woke up before my alarm to what sounded like my dog running around my house followed by the feeling of her jumping onto my bed, but not landing. I have paranoia that I can only attribute to an overactive imagination (at least I hope that's all it is). For example, I once heard a creaking come from the attic and became convinced for months that there was a Mexican family living up there and making fun of my singing. Then I couldn't sing in my house for a long time. A few weeks ago I had contractors in my house and became concerned that they had placed recording devices in it.
The paranoia? maybe a year or two. I dont hear voices. I could have sworn I've heard whispers before though. Unless you count a box of cards talking to me years and years ago, but I think that may have been brought on by lonelyness.
