He's just some nobody who influenced entire decades worth of American films. Don't blame you as modern Japanese cinema is pretty bleh. THANKS MIIKE (not really). But his films are so good I highly suggest you check them out. I think you should start with something light, like say...Yojimbo (if you've played Final Fantasy you will be familiar with his character) and its sequel Sanjuro.
