Uncharted 1 is pretty shitty. Just a real boring game to play.

Because that needs to follow you everywhere you go for the rest of your life. Just... no. Uncharted 1 was amazing. 2 was great, and 3 was a slide, sure, but still fun.
I really hate this "best/worst" thing for the series because they're all good in their own ways.
My taste is fine, great even. I'm not the here who likes Uncharted 1 for instance.
It's not a terrible game, but it's pretty average. There's really nothing to the gun play, it's very boring. Combine standard at best gunplay with enemy encounters that have no style to them and you have a pretty boring game. That's what it feels like. There's no excitement to really any gun battle. They feel like they are there for the sake of it.
So why is the game good? For throwing stones you sure haven't explained that part amigo. Oh the story and characters? Big whoop. It's basic action hero storytelling and it's the same quality in all 3. At least the sequels have better gameplay. Gun play refinement, some sort of stealth, ok fist combat, actual pacing, and of course set peices all make for better games then the avrage at best 1st game.
Pretty much every encounter in UC1 is the same. Here's another wave of enemies, I guess I'll get into cover and shoot with the "not even as good as gears" gunplay. Oh boy!
Thats really what the first UC is, an average Gears clone without any of Gears' style.
IN UC2 you are encouraged to move around. Enemies can lose track of you. So here I am moving around cover, maybe I'll pop that guys neck and that start shooting and then run around again. It's something at least that makes you think on your feet which is not all what I do in the very boring encounters in 1.
