It all depends on how you present yourself. I suspect Evilore is the type of dude that lets chicks know that he has money and isn't afraid to ball out if the occasion arises. Because of that, he's going to get a lot of women who look at him as a meal ticket. If you're not the type that is conspicuous about how much money you make, you're probably not going to get the type of single moms that he is talking about because they're not going to pursue some douchey acting dork (of which I'm sure there are shitloads of them in Austin, being the nerd capital of the south and all) otherwise.

The thing is, I doubt Evilore can contain himself from talking about making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. He's a pretty average looking guy otherwise and in a sea of flabby tech industry dorks in their 20s, he's indistinguishable and thus probably didn't get much action. He needs that edge over the rest to fuck failed Texas models. Making $400,000 or whatever a year is a pretty good edge if you want to get your pencil wet.
