If you know what you want to do, get the degree most applicable to it. If you want "any" job and are in school to earn a better living, major in something that shows knowledge or skills that can have the most potential applications in the business world. Economics is one of the highest paid undergrad degrees straight out of college but in my experience it's one of the easiest majors and can easily be finished a year early.
I don't know anyone who immediately found a decent job after college without internships and networking.
