Today sucks.

All I wanted today were bras and shoes.

I asked for help in the shoe section at Macy's and they looked at me like I was a freak. I ran out, embarrassed. I went to Dilliards and the same thing happened. All I wanted to do was have my shoe size measured in women's feet to see how off base my last measurements were and I received the most horrific look of disgust I've ever seen in my life.

Went to Lane Bryant, and they kicked me out. They said that because they were a women's store, they didn't want women to come in and think they were selling clothes to men to try on.

Dejected, I went to Penny's. Finally met someone willing to talk with me and help me try on shoes. I managed to try on and buy my first women's shoes today, some cute flats and some wedged gladiator sandals that I LooooooovvvVVVVVVVVeeeee. Her manager looked at me like what we were doing wasn't natural but I sucked it up and tried to not mind.

This is the most courageous thing I've ever done. Today took every bit of confidence and courage I had in my body and somehow I made it work. Trying to express feminity in a male body will give you the revulsion of practically everyone. But it is making me a more confident person in the process.

It has been two weeks since starting E and I'm sure it is a placebo effect but everything I smell is pissing me off because it just smells outright bad and I can taste it as well. Gross. Like I smell gas from my car when pumping gas and I can taste it now. Even the air outside smells gross and it never bothered me before.

Oh I don't really remember, I think it 2-3 months in? But I'm not really sure, 2 weeks seem a bit early to me, so I'mma go with placebo but did mention you have low T so it can be working pretty well.

I tried some of those gummi bears, and maybe they were fresh or whatever, but they were definitely good gummi bears. I'm not going to attribute heightened sense of smell and taste to hormones just yet as it is too soon, but this is what I'm dealing with now two-three weeks into Estrogen and over a month on Anti-Androgen.

- I am extremely emotional. It's not so much I'm irrational, but rather my emotions are at the forefront of every single thing I do and say. Just don't piss me off or I will probably be a bitch.

- Weight loss. I've lost 10 pounds, mostly in water weight, from spironolactone.

- Increase appetite. I feel like I'm pregnant. I'll eat a nice meal and get hungry about an hour later. Jesus Christ.

- Lower metabolism. I have more cravings but less ability to eat a full meal compared to before. Maybe it's not related to hormones and just the fact that I've been trying to eat less to lose weight.

Maybe most of this is psychological but either way, I'm feeling pretty good. Also, NO CILANTRO.
