The frame rate in Titanfall is uneven on the Xbox One and though it's usually fine, it can get downright nasty in specific situations. In one Last Titan Standing match--where every player spawns in a robot suit--several players crammed their mechs into a tight area and began duking it out, and the frame rate dived down to what must have been single digits per second. Even out in wider areas, the game feels a little hitchy from time to time, and there's noticeable tearing throughout. The visuals in Titanfall look nice, but that's mostly due to some solid art and interesting design, not the performance. As of this writing, I haven't seen enough of the PC version to know how well it runs.

Anybody on PC having a weird yellow texture showing up at times? I have an ati card so I'm guessing that may have something to do with it as I don't think its intentional.

With the Xbox One, though, the company opened up its global server farms to game developers, giving them access to more computing power than could reasonably be stuffed into a $500 game console. Since the Xbox One's debut, Microsoft has been crowing about how Azure would let designers create gaming experiences players have never seen before. Now it's time for the product to speak for itself.With Tuesday's release of the online-multiplayer-only Titanfall, Redmond's gamble takes center stage. Players are no doubt concerned about the game's stability at launch. With one look at the problems that plagued Diablo III, SimCity and Battlefield 4, consumer skepticism is easy to understand. The folks behind Titanfall believe they've got a not-so-secret weapon to circumvent the foibles those games endured, or are still enduring, in Microsoft's server infrastructure. It's been in place and running pretty successfully since 2011.Respawn engineer Jon Shiring says that since the beta ended, some skeptical devs have already changed their minds about the feasibility of using Azure for the parts of a game traditionally handled by a user's console or PC. In Titanfall's case, that largely includes artificial-intelligence-powered teammates.
Because Titanfall's advanced AI is handled by the Azure servers, your Xbox's or PC's innards can be used to achieve more detailed graphics and the game's silky-smooth frame rate. The Titan bodyguards, dropships and legions of AI-controlled combatants are essentially free from a processing-power standpoint. Without Redmond's cloud, it's highly likely that Titanfall's six-versus-six player limit would be painfully apparent. Since these features live on remote servers, though, making sure they seamlessly appear in-game is paramount.

Played for about 4 hours this evening. Had so much fun. Most fun in a shooter in a very long time for me. My favorite minor moment of the night was the first time I came upon a zipline.
And the general smoothness of the game is so refreshing after bf4
Mups and I played for almost 3 hours last night.I fucking love this game. I could never get in to shit like COD or BF, but the movement of this game, the addition of the Titans, make its so much fun.I got so excited every time I'd jump up on an enemy titan and take it down with my carbine.

This is probably the first game with Capture the Flag where I've actually enjoyed the mode.
At level 32 or so. Using the burst rifle. S'ok. I got really good with the shotgun though.Doing pretty well these days, usually in the top 3.Almost done 50 wins on each campaign map.
What's the counterweight do? I just find the gun really weak.
