There's all sorts of speculation in the media, including that it could have been a Russian missle that was somehow driven off course by Ukrainian missile defense. No idea if that's possible.
Anyway, no sane person would assume that anyone intentionally fired a missile at Poland. Which is why I stand by what I said yesterday: There is not going to be a reaction by Nato. (And by that I mean a military response).

And more importantly, Ukraine is desperate for Western support for reconstruction. Russia paying any significant war reparation is a pipe dream.

The West will probably push for a settlement once it becomes apparent that Ukraine has run of out momentum and the conflict has become a stalemate.

The general idea seems to be that they can't fight in winter but I very much doubt this considered how well equipped Ukraine is and how poorly equipped Russia is.

Freezing assets is one thing, stealing them is another. Very bad precedent that would be.

And how would stealing foster "peace"? It sounds to me you are just rebuilding the country to be destroyed again at a later date.

The legal system exists. It can be used for disputing elections. If he has the evidence then he should dispute it. However, he's got to prove it in court. He's not inciting a mob.
