For Italy it's going to work out fine having a banker instead of Salvini. Draghi as former ECB head will be trusted with more EU money.
Just nothing that will change anything in the long run because otherwise Silvio and the rest wouldn't have signed up for this.

Boris Johnson believes a campaign to encourage people to eat British-caught fish could help the industry combat post-Brexit disruption.

Yes, I'm sure that'll do :lol

In other news, the head of the Bank of England goes :pika because the EU wants to take euro derivatives clearing out of London

It's almost like all this was bound to happen but they lived under a rock for 4.5 years.

Neo-Nazi Sonnenkrieg Division to become first right-wing terrorist organisation listed in Australia

A right-wing extremist group is set to be formally listed as a terrorist organisation for the first time in Australia.

Sonnenkrieg Division, a UK-based neo-Nazi group, will be effectively banned in Australia once its listing as a terror group is confirmed.

The group has been outlawed in the UK since early last year, and members have been convicted of encouraging terrorism, disseminating terror material, and preparations for a terrorist act.

Two Sonnenkrieg Division members were convicted in 2019 for plotting to attack the British royal family.

A good start, but more needs to be done to weed these fucking scumbags out.

Gotta love Aussie Bob. This is one of his classic quotes from a few years ago now. He does represent his electorate really well though (crazy outback people).

Some more words of wisdom from Bob:

Quote
“I would walk to Bourke backwards if the gay population of North Queensland is any more than 0.001%,”

His half-brother Carl later came out as gay.

The EU ban on many UK shellfish exports is "indefensible" and "unnecessary", the environment secretary has said.

This "EU y u so mean" approach is hilarious, considering those rules for 3rd countries (which the UK voted for) have been in place for ages.
But good luck exporting your shellfish to "other markets", I'm sure they will be very fresh when they get there :lol

Quote
Chinese regulators have fined Alibaba Group, the world's biggest e-commerce company, 18.3 billion yuan ($3.7 billion) for anti-competitive tactics.

How ironic that a totalitarian dictatorship in a country where opposition parties are banned and the political system is (philosophically) opposed to commercial competition would issue a fine for anticompetitive behaviour!!

Only in modern China...
