Rocking my JaMarcus Russell jersey today and hoping the Raiders beat the Texans today (cause it shouldn't be too hard, right?)

Lions shat the bed on the road. I can't blame the defense, they did their best and kept us in the game for quite awhile. The problem was special teams and the offense. I'm sorry, I know our kicker is a rookie but he has to go. You can't miss two FGs in a row, in the NFL. I remember during the offseason when nearly every beat writers was arguing that he shouldn't get the job, it should have gone to his competitor - who we cut right before the season started, and he was quickly signed to Oakland's practice squad. I really think he's done. Maybe not tomorrow or before next weekend's game, but I expect they'll bring a kicker in for competition.

The offense dominated the clock early but couldn't score due to turnovers and missed FGs. Stafford wasn't horrible but clearly got frustrated and began forcing balls to Megatron. Speaking of which, Megatron had a huge "drop" in the endzone. I fucking hate that rule. It's amazing that on a running play a centimeter of the ball has to pass the endzone line and it's A TD, yet a clear catch can be overruled if the ground dislodges the ball after a clear catch. I hate that bullshit, and have ever since I first saw it a few years ago when the same thing happened with Megatron against Chicago. Bullshit rule.

lol @ Richard Sherman not talking to the media. You got beat, admit it and move on. BTW this game validated my views last week about GB: they should have challenged Sherman. He's amazing, but you HAVE to at least challenge the man a few times. The new rules guarantee you're going to have some form of success. Not a lot, but a few easy first downs.

I have no problems with Kap taking off from the pocket when the play breaks down and there is no one to throw to. However, get all designed keepers out of the playbook ffs. Once again, play calling in the second half was garbage. A ton of bullshit penalties too.

I'm not sure Carlos Hyde is a good fit for that offense. They almost need a Reggie Bush-like threat instead. But they drafted Hyde, so they will feel compelled to play him.

Well, the cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the league. I wouldn't be using that as a barometer.

The Niners had LeMichael James for years and used him like they use Hyde. They don't put their backs into pass routes and rarely run screens. They don't get speed guys into space. So those type of players just don't get used.

(Image removed from quote.)

That's fucking stupid as hell.

Last person drafting should be waiver priority #1 and it should send whomever claimed waivers to last priority. I thought that shit was standard by now.

Good call. I'm commish off my league and on ESPN you can indeed change and set the waiver priority but it does pay to ensure your provider does so.

Edit the configurations you chose during registration. Some settings can only be changed pre-draft (Max Teams, Unowned Players and Waiver Rules), some before your first league game (Scoring Type, League Start Date), with the rest available all season long.
