Not a Browns fan but if there's a team I feel #solidarity with it's them. A bad organization with passionate, loyal fans in a hard working city. How can I hate that, as a Detroit Lions fan. Also I'm glad to see Hoyer working out so far, as it has killed the Johnny Football fuckery.
My family grew up Cleveland fans...all sports, and Ohio State of course. While I do bleed blue I am a diehard Cavs/Indians/Browns fan and always have been. One of my favorite moments in life was meeting Jim Brown during a preseason game I played in. He just seems "tough", I guess I can't put a word on it.
Anyway, without a doubt this is the best time in my life to be a Cleveland fan....I know we had some good browns teams in the 80's and some good indians teams in the 90's/early 00's, and even the Mark Price/Brad Cav's and of course the Early Lebrons....but never have we had 3 good teams all at once.
It almost seems like God has forgiven Cleveland.
Always remember it always took the best to beat us...
John Elway (the fumble, the drive) people slept on well he played in the those games. People forget the Giants that we would have played that superbowl were killed by the browns 44-10 (ish) in the regular season.
Jordan (The shot) enough said
Pedro (coming out of the bullpen, I remember thinking well it's been fun) he proceeded to K what? 6 guys in a row. Prime Pedro was nobody to fuck with.
Greg Maddox/Tom Glavine....ugh
Tim Duncan destroyed us in the finals....totally stuffed out Lebron's will in that series. Great all time player.
