Jameis is a pocket QB who ran an NFL offense and can make every throw. Mariotta is a read option QB...how are they working out in the NFL, outside of Russell Wilson?

I think Mariotta can make the transition as he has the size and the arm strength.  Just depends how much punishment he endures in the first 2-3 years if he can make it for the long haul.

Titans going for the boom/bust draft strategy  :lawd

I'm absolutely loving it. After years of boring, wackass drafts they finally stopped giving a fuck.
Now we just need to figure out something at RB and work on getting our tragic defense up to decent.

I guess now I'm a Titans fan with the Mariota pick. After doing some research, I'm already expecting it to be awful unless they really have an idea of how to integrate Mariota into their offensive scheme, which is currently not in Mariota's favor at all.

in other words

please please please Chip make a crazy trade for Mariota.

Also: Fuck Jameis Winston and everything he stands for.

Well if Whiz can't make it work he's going to get fired so I'm expecting him to put a lot of his usual shit up on the shelf and get creative.

Yup I heard that. The guy from USC. Really highlights why this team will be rebuilding soon. We've spent the last few years handing Stafford weapon after weapon - either high round draft picks or in FA. Yet statistically he has regressed from 2011 every single season. Yea we won 11 games last year and he threw far fewer INTs than normal but that's largely because our offense was unimaginative, and the defense carried us.

Last year's draft was very WR heavy. More than ten had over 500 receiving yards. Meanwhile our top ten "weapon" TE had less than 400 yards. We could have easily gotten a good WR in the fourth round last year, instead of taking Ebron in the first.

Our front office's nonstop quest to baby Stafford has doomed us.

This has probably been said before, but do you think all those 49'ers are retiring early because they witnessed first hand crazy Harbaugh and they think it's a product of too may head injuries? Lol

While I think Harbaugh wore out his welcome, I also don't believe the team would deal with these mass retirements if he were still coaching. Vernon Davis clashed with Harbaugh towards the end yet seemed upset about the way he was fired; I'd imagine many players felt the same way.

I can tell some Michigan fans are getting a bit wary now. Harbaugh has refused to give them the red meat they want, at least publicly. He recently praised Michigan State and called them the big boys of the state; needless to say that upset some fans. But it's true: MSU has been on top lately, and recruits know it. Meanwhile the shirt thing has some folks puzzled. To me it's just him making a splash in SEC country. He won't win over top recruits there but I think he can nab various middle tier guys from the south. Hungry guys who want to make it to the league and believe Harbaugh can get them there. The team needs depth and this is a good way to get it.

Harbaugh is going to look amazing after all of this. Already is getting recruits in states Michigan couldn't dream of before he got there.

And then there's York, whose 49ers are going to be bad for awhile. Will be the worst team in the NFCW this year.

I can assure you nobody would punch Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning, or Andrew Luck, or any of the other top tier NFL QB's. This is a direct example of why Gino Smith is a failure as a leader of his team. Trust me.
