The GOP fiscal policy is pretty much fundamentally based on judging people for their personal lives. The attitude is, well, 'I grew up with __________ and I made (or didn't make) x of myself so why can't y do the same, without benefits'

I think I have a reputation for being a lefty (though really that only holds up in Americuh anywhere else I'd be on the right). But I doesn't mean I gush at Zoe's whole bit. I don't buy into the whole "She did doxed herself!" conspiracy thing. But I've also been made too cynical by business to view this as anything other than a brilliant branding execution. I remember when that Xbone designer guy was ousted for being an idiot on twitter I thought to myself "This guy is going to do a startup and then start giving talks about how he was wronged, because that sets him apart and it gives his project attention." Sure enough a few months later, he did exactly this. Issue with him though is his issue/plight is temporary. Whereas Zoe's has serious staying power.

With the whole Zoe thing it's utterly unsurprising that she's writing articles like this and going after that. It makes sense. That's what she has. It's what sets her apart. I mean it's even on cracked for crying out loud. Next it'll be "Male gamers hate her..." on buzzfeed. It's saavy business and if I was consulting for her I would've told her to do exactly the same thing. Write an article exactly like this, stay in the eye, do one or two more videos/articles like this, start up a new project announce it. Get on TED to talk about sexism in games. Maybe kickstart something. Spread the name. Spread the brand. It's actually rather well done. What she's saying doesn't really matter to me. The fact that she's saying something does. This is a smart move. Good for her.
