A thing many dudes need to realize is that weaves are not the only way to have straight hair. Because a woman with naturally curly hair has straight hair doesn't mean her hair is fake.
Most black women in America do not have weaves. They have relaxed hair.
This process isn't too different from how many non-black women straighten their curls.
Some use hot combs.
This is a weave.
You can tell a weave due to how perfect it is. Look at the ends at the bottom of the hair. Notice how it's perfect? There's a distinct lack of volume seen at the crown that's seen on the hair as it goes down.
These are extensions. EXTENSIONS ARE NOT WEAVES.
Non-black women use extensions just as frequently.
This is natural hair flat ironed. NOTICE SOME OF THE ENDS ARE FRIZZY OR SPLIT.
