There is a point you reach that it has to be done. It's tough, but it's the difference between crying because you put me down to sleep at the scheduled time and I'm just going to be mad and cry until I actually go to sleep and crying because something is wrong. You do what you're supposed to do - bathe, play, feed, burp, change, and that's really it. It was a very hard thing for my wife to get through but it lasted all of 20 minutes for two nights straight. I want to say my little girl was nine months when we did this.
