I bought this Orange/peach/mango juice from Trader Joe's earlier today. Mixed it with a whole bunch of rum. This is one of the finest drinks I've had in awhile.

The tenet that was living in one of my parent's rental houses dropped dead recently (she was old and smoked like a chimney).

So, once the inside gets gutted and renovated I might have my "own place" early next year.

The great thing about a crock pot is it's pretty hard to ruin the food in it. It would have to take a conscious effort to burn your shit.

Prep it at night in the dish and put it in the fridge. Before you leave for work, put the dish in the heating element. Get home from work and dinner is ready.

Protip: Put an oven bag in it. Clean up is just pulling the oven bag out and tossing it. The food never touched the crock pot.

Mentioned in the #struggle thread that my internet from a USB stick cell modem was busy shitting the bed; fretted over it for half an hour, become more anxious about losing my net connectivity here in Turkey, felt like I was going to burst a vein. Instead I had a nap, the modem cooled down, and internet speeds are back to 4G standard.

I need to try this “nap” technique more often.

On Goodreads you can add tags to your quotations for categorization purposes. If you quoted a piece of gay vampire incest erotica, you'd put "gay" "vampire" and "incest" in the tags section, for example, so people looking for gay vampire incest erotica quotations can more easily find your quotes.

I being me however, I use the tags for unintended purposes to be metafictive of my quotation and / or passably clever. You only get 4 tags per quote, so it's like a haiku... but for people who are fucked up in the head.

ANYWAY, I'm pretty sure I just wrote my best set of tags for one of my quotations. And I only needed 3 of my 4 tags to do it.

It's all downhill from here y'all.
