Yeah, I have a HRAP2 that I loved and used for like 6 years for fighting games & shmups. Also have a crappy $60 fighting stick for X360 that I used for DoA4 & cave Shmups.
Now I've got a million PS3 fighters & shmups, half of them in my backlog or untouched still like Tekken Tag 2, Street Fighter x Tekken, P4A Ultimax, Blazblue Chrono Phan, Undernight Rebirth, Dengeki Bunko, Arcana Heart Max, UMvC3, MK9, Soul Calibur V, KoFXIII and then the stuff I still play here and there like VF5 FS and SFIV. On PS4 now I've been into Xrd and soon Rev, SFV, and Tekken 7, KoFXIV, next Blazblue coming. Also have Injustice & might get DoA5 LR/MK10 when they're cheap. MAYBE SOMEDAY A NEW VF WOULD BE NICE. On PC I've never had a stick, so having a native stick that I can use for MAME shmups and classic games is pretty awesome. Basically an all in one PS3/PS4/PC stick is useful for me because it revives new fun into PS3 fighters and motivates me to get to some of my backlog ones, it's great for PS4 stuff, it future-proofs me for the rest of this gen, and it gives me a MAME stick which is cool for oddball weekends I feel like playing some classics. A quality stick that does all that for $200 is worth it for me.
ya it works. the longer loads times for ps4 are definitely noticeable when playing on pc though
I don't even understand why PS4 load times are so crazy long. Doesn't it install most/the whole game to the hard drive? Xrd doesn't have insane loads or anything and SFIV wasn't this bad on PS3. It's pretty annoying though. Almost back to the PS1 days of 2d fighters.
