windows 10 is out

Well, to be fair....that was the one big problem I've had since I started using Windows 10, and it really wasn't that big of a deal once I restored back.  When I did some research on it, I also only found people with Surfaces specifically saying that they'd had issues similar to this before.

I tried updating again and it's working fine.  No telling what the hell happened the first time-- at the time, the Surface was sitting on a chair that I pulled over to the TV to hook it up to and in the morning, I found it moved with cables thrown on top of it when my wife decided to do some housecleaning.  Wouldn't surprise me if something fucked it up.  I figured it was a 50/50 chance of being that or the update.

Amusingly enough, I had to roll back a W7 update so I could even install the W10 upgrade.

Speaking of Windows 10 crap, I installed it on my new PC and it was a massive headache to disable a bunch of default stuff that was shitting up stuff, updates included. It almost felt bugged. I wish I had installed 8.1 instead, but oh well. Once the support for that gets discontinued, I'd have to get 10 anyway. Things are fine now though, but 10 isn't as good as it should have been.
