Last time I owned a bike, someone stole it a month after moving back to LA.

The time before that someone stole my bike when I was in high school before moving for college.

Before that my cousin borrowed my bike and it got run over by a car when I was in middle school.

Someone up there doesn't want me owning bikes.

It's not that I think I am above the law, when I go over red lights and such. It's that I gotta go fast.

My PR for this Strava segment isn't going to break itself. #RideFightWin

Absolute worst shit I've seen in cyclists at unprotected left turns not moving.
I get that they can't make the turns nearly as fast so they wait till red sometimes but shit man. Blocking it when a car could make it sucks and worse yet is some of those dudes edge to the center line to let cars past and move closer to other traffic so you have to move around them anyway.

The minimal ones are difficult for low skill riders to ride because your margin for error is basically nothing as they're barely wider than a bike and roadies on a group ride (i.e. more advanced riders) will always spill out of it chasing that #ProPeloton experience which is just dangerous for everyone. I'd rather have nothing than those, at least I can meander into the middle of the road as traffic permits.

Much as I wish gaming would grow the fuck up in some respects why should it when it's making money consistently catering to the lowest denominator. Also gamers, even when justifiably mad never fucking vote with their wallets. Like how you gonna be mad at ever more dlc and buying games in piecemeal but still give those assholes your money?

Despite the mixed outcome, the film turned out to be a box office hit. It became the first Disney film in 2009 to open at #1, grossing $24.4 million. The film would go on to gross over $67 million at the North American domestic box office, and over $39 million internationally, for a total of $106 million

The best thing about the "bu-bu-bu-but violent games" pedo defense force argument is the fact that acts of pedophilia are one of, if not the single most heinous forms of violence.

This denial that child molestation is violence but rather some twisted form of worship or love is the easiest way to identify when you're dealing with an actual pedo vs. someone who just wants to argue.

This morning I almost got creamed by a service van and I stopped at a stop sign. (The van was driving faster than the posted limit.) 25 mph on flat road is still faster than anything below a professional racer drafting. Basically we need our own ghetto too, my city doesn't even have bike lanes.

Mine does, but barely anyone that I've seen uses them. A lot of them use the sidewalk or bike in rural areas because the drivers around here are insane:lol

One of the interesting trends in Japanese mobile games right now are the dating games for women. They are every bit as stomach crawly as the ones for men, but it is at least interesting to see Japanese developers knowingly going after a portion of the market which is still largely unaddressed in the west.

Lol, I remember this. Mario desperately needmore of this to get my interest again. I trust that players will have fun making evil, crazy levels with unpredictable situations. I don't need to be introduced gently to everything, it's been 30 years, I know how to deal with those things and I can learn some patterns. Give me something cruel that Nintendo would never do, guys.

I never get the appeal of this kind of game design. I mean, since when does a game "desperately" need terrible level design?

I hope the game has a blacklist/block feature just so I can block these people creating these kind of levels.  :yuck

That's the big downside for games whose main gimmick is user made content.  99% of the stuff is garbage, and the remaining 1% is presented in a way that isn't as compelling as a regular game.

Still gonna get Mario Maker though.

A lot of people use the sidewalk here too. To use the road (even if there's a lane) you have to go at a high speed and pay a lot of attention to your surroundings, for something like commuting or everyday transportation I think we can all agree that this isn't ideal. Motorists have to pay so little attention to the road they can text, make a phone call, or play JRPGs (big ups to Positive Touch) while piloting imperial tons of metal being propelled by controlled explosions.
