Voted early last week

My fiance and I took the two boys, my mom and our 90 year old neighbor. I've been a Hillary supporter since (forever) 2008. Worked on her campaign then, and been volunteering again this time. I only cried for about 10 minutes when I finally FINALLY got to vote for her in the General. It was also emotional seeing my mom and my neighbor get to vote for the first woman to have a chance at winning. It was a big deal for them.

Question for other voters. There's a lot of down ticket elections on my sample ballot, more than there usually are. I'm worried I'm going to forget the names of some of them, since a lot of them are non-partisan. Am I allowed to bring a note card with me into the voting booth?

Couldn't find anything specific in a google search.

Pretty convenient way of doing things, tbh... but there are SO many things on the ballot! Not just initiatives and constitutional amendments, but people too! I have to elect 12 judges, and none of them have party affiliations or anything else I can see. Plus I have to vote for things like "Superintendent of Public Instruction", and "Insurance Commissioner", with no clue on what these jobs really entail, and who the people running for them are. Should I leave options like these blank, or try to research all my choices for these two dozen or so people?

It's like a built in system to categorize and relegate people that don't line up with your view points, and if they don't they're automatically bad people. Even if you have no contact with them to know if they are or aren't allies. And if you think they aren't you're as dismissive of them as you think they are of you by default.
