In terms of technical stuff? For sure. Last one that impressed me was Demon's Souls. Dark Souls 1 was good 2 was meh, haven't gotten around to 3. But none of Dark Souls have match that sheer fun-ness of beating the bosses in Demon's Souls.

What Monolith managed on WiiU with Xenoblade X was incredible. Huge, seamless map with quick travel and no loading (only at the start).

That's not the point. At all. The point is it is about as generic and uncreative of a logo as you can get, which is why a bunch of places have "circle with a line" as their logo. Only people on GAF would really think companies are stealing logos from a video game message board, because they have no sense of scale or understanding that GAF isn't some gigantic website that everyone knows about. It has a user base of 170K, probably 15-20% that are banned or inactive accounts at that. Compare that to IGN/Gamespot/Gamefaqs, which are all around the million or higher range. Those are the kind of people this thread exists to make fun of.
