Oh, very much. But the man is dead and we only hypothesize. I am very much familiar with Hitchens' work. But this is 2016, and Trump managed to get support from people who deemed him unfit through pure emotional appeal. A lot of people waved away Trump's faults and I can see him wave away Trump's. I can see Hitchens voting for Bernie in the primary and Trump in the general. But it's a coin toss on whether he'd vote for Hillary. Probably 50/50. I know very much that Hitchens was anti-totalitarianism. But if anything this year proved is that some people fall for that rhetoric. I would think Hitchens would be one such person. I guess I shouldn't say Hitchens wouldn't be 100% a Trump supporter, but I can definitely imagine it happening.
But trying to think how a dead person would have voted is a dumb discussion anyways.
