Also, I'd love to know what Chittagong does for a living.  Dude gets one insane condo after another.  He's already ditched the one in that posted image and is moving into a new one that's even bigger, with a custom entertainment room being built.

That's the one thing I hate about the States.  So much contemporary design everywhere.  Europe has dat modern touch everywhere.

My place has a nice shower, though.  It's just tiny.

I don't exactly want to fill it with my nerd shit but don't really like the minimalist look either. I don't play David Cage games, don't want to live in one either.

Just get me a comfy ass couch, a coffee table to leave my shit on, and a desk for my TV and I'm golden.

If all you need is a couch, coffee table, and a desk...that's pretty minimalist, bruh.  :)

Haha, true. I mean more so in the design aspect. All that shit looks good but isn't exactly what I'd call comfortable from my experience. Nothing beats a good sofa for that.

I'm confused here...there's plenty of modern designed sofas that are nice and comfy.  ???

Carpet?  Noooooooooooooo~

I take it you rent though?  I made sure that a requirement when I bought a place was no fuckin' carpet anywhere.  My wife bought a couple of rugs though.  Had to get a big one for the living room since the dog would slide on the floor when trying to run and jump onto the couch.  :lol

Tell me about it. :goty2 One of my life goals in that "where do you see yourself in 5-10 years" thread was specifically "My studio apartment is closer to the city and has hardwood floors." :lol

So I'm pretty sure I'll be achieving that in a year when my lease is up.

I just stayed in this place and had mixed feelings on it.  One the one hand it had a really nice interior with new appliances, a nice bedroom, killer views, and amazing light in the afternoons.  On the other hand it felt a bit sterile and it gets cold as fuck.  I had the heat cranked most of the time and still constantly had the chills because of all of the glass and the hard floors.  To live in an apartment like that I'd need to purge most of my books.  And a desktop PC would look like ass on that desk with cables strewn down behind it.  I did love that view, though.

I found my literal dream apartment (down to the location and pet rules if I wanted to pull the trigger on that dog I've wanted) a week ago but not only did I just renew my lease, it's $2450/month for a 1-bath studio. :goty2

Which is doable if I made 10-15% more than I do now... Maybe next year. :)

The reason we finally bought a place is because rent for a tiny one bedroom apartment actually cost more than it does for our monthly mortgage and HOA payments combined.  Obviously there's that matter of putting down money first, of course.  But it was just getting insane watching the rent keep going up and up every year.  Was glad to get out of the rental game.

Anyway, back to laughing at GAFfots...

I think you should calm down. It is my genuine opinion that race is the central issue of our times, and not gender. It is my genuine opinion that a women's march distracts from what's actually important, and for many women, is little more than an opportunity to grab attention. You getting angry with me won't change my opinion.

The power of race as it pertains to men has a direct and massive impact on the day to day lives of the women of that race. The women's march and it's associated activities delude female minorities into believing they can get power by latching onto white women. They need to support their own men first and foremost. And they will.

It's really not, though.  The environment at the marches could not have been any different than the shitfest that is GAF.  750,000 people together in a small place and there was no tension, no contentiousness, just cooperation.  They expected 70k.  When the speeches finished and it was time for the march to begin, we couldn't even take a step because the street was packed with people, elbow to elbow, from Pershing Square all the way to City Hall.  There was nowhere to march.  And without being told what to do, it got figured out.  The crowd divided itself and shifted over to the parallel streets.  No pushing or shoving.  Hundreds of thousands of people behaving like adults.  No mods help.  That's how the entire day went.  And there thousands of people representing BLM with chants and signs.  Nobody was ignored or disregarded.  Whatever is being described in that GAF thread is nonsense.

Haha, messofanego is taking so much shit.

Quote
Its been discussed but only in bits and pieces in threads and PoliGAF. Its a fantastic topic, I just resent how it was presented here. Wrapping it the way OP did ensures that folks would spend more time attacking allies IMO rather than discussing the core.

Quote
OP Just selectively posts responses showing that he has no idea what he was thinking when he made this thread.

Quote
I'm a little bothered to see you and others falling back on "it's just statistics" when I see that same sort of disingenuous rhetoric on FreeRepublic, Voat, Breitbart and Stormfront every day. If a white man showed up at a BLM rally holding a sign protesting black on black violence and citing legitimate data he would immediately be marked as an antagonist. You would not for a second believe this individual actually cared about black lives lost by intraracial violence. Context matters, and trying to mitigate the offensiveness of the sign/tweet in the OP feels incredibly hypocritical and dishonest to me. Attacking women who have very likely already done (and continue to do) everything in their power to protest Donald Trump is counter productive and pretty stupid, and I don't see why you have to defend that behavior or go to lengths attempting to justify it.

Quote
The point of the thread is to attack white women who participated in the Women's March as possible secret Trump voters. That's how the OP is framed. Right after this it immediately gets into statistics emphasizing how many white women voted for Trump. Then there's some kinda out-of-place history of politics, where the OP seems to mostly be interested in establishing that minority voters have been better voters in the past too. He draws a tentative conclusion here but immediately refutes it with the next part about Clinton actually talking about the working class.
Mod http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=228958292&postcount=776

Quote
I'm more and more convinced that the problem with this topic is more how the OP was organized (shitty with a few shitty examples) than the general topic (which is true and worth having a discussion about).

Glorious, he won't be able to show his face for a while.
sigh

The women's march was the largest protest in US history.

Not exactly a sterling example of the left tearing itself apart, as much as insincere OPs and shitposters would have you believe.

Oh dear me. I never claim to be radical. If you had any idea of what was being said, you'd realize I aim to be reasoned and willing to err on the side of wisdom.

It's not radicalism that causes your sphincter to clinch up when you read my posts. It's your impotent frustration that you have no response. I mean you fell hard for my obvious troll, got butthurt about that because you you felt special for getting so many likes. And then, to save face, you wanted to make up some response to someone being able to construct a full thought the nature of dehumanization, and could only spit out a weak little text fart. Seeing that not work, you thought you would scoff at horseshoe theory which only reveals you probably don't know why that term is being used or maybe actually are stuck on the idea yourself.

Retreating from that fuck-up, you finish off with nazis r baaad, as though you revealed some grand truth I had never processed when the one thing you should have never done is return to the obvious, simple little things that the discussion had already blown past.

I gotta say, your last 24 hours of posts remind me of a headless chicken ghost riding the whip atop another headless chicken.

But back to the dangers of thinking you know how and who to hate:

Quote
The limousine that was set on fire during the anti-Trump anarchist protest in downtown Washington on Inauguration Day is owned by a Muslim immigrant who says the damage could cost his company $70,000.

Golly gee. Nuke your precious minority's limo because you secretly hold the racist belief that a minority must be poor. And, also, that you suck dick at telling good from evil, let alone a Trump supporter from Sadiq from down the street.

But there's more! That Milo shooting? Turns out it was two anti-Milo protesters that both thought the other was a white supremacist. One rushed the other and the other shot back.

That's a nice looking place, Andy.

We could live there together. :heartbeat

Yeah even that seems conservative lol, still a nice area though. A lot easier to access downtown on foot too

Walking from Seaport to Chinatown and back in 20 mins :lawd

If it's a joke he's been doing it for a while.  The guy is "pushing 40" yet has a no understanding of the most basic civics.  He's been constantly asking shit like "Why can't Obama stop Trump," and other questions you would expect from a uninformed 14-year-old.

I honestly thought he was literally 14 or had woken from a 20 year coma because he did know know the context of this image.

He is a indictment on the countries education system.

That shower. wtfisthis.gif

Handheld shower-head. :comeon It's readily apparent. Those are also great to making sure you hit all the areas of your body.

I'm talking about the fact that the shower is the bathroom. Or vice versa.

I've been reading that thread all day, and it really damn entertaining and also depressing at the same time. Entertaining watching GAF tearing itself apart and depressing how the left is eating itself alive.

 :hyper :heartbeat

That makes me feel really good.  :)
