I'm only 21. I have no choice but to look towards the future. So I'm not gonna just take it when I see some posts saying that we're all gonna be wiped out in about half a century from now just because of this one administration.

I want to get a girlfriend and get married. I want to have children. Can you imagine how much it irritates me when I hear people in these threads saying NOT to do the latter like the future's 100% set in stone?

I'm choosing not to believe in that bleak future, and living my life to the best I can, doing my part in the climate change fight in any way I can.

I want other people to feel the same way, no matter what the news says. That's why I speak up in these threads and get angry. I'm trying to ignite some ray of hope amidst all this despair that everyone's feeling.

I believe that humans will find a solution to climate change. Maybe not now, maybe not next year or ten years after, but eventually we'll find a solution.

That doesn't mean I don't feel scared about climate change. I do. But I can't let that fear affect how I communicate with others. Both IRL and online.

So if anything, I sure as hell won't be contributing to the despair in these threads.

Look, I may not show it much, but I'm just as terrified as the rest of you when I read news like this. I just watched that video in the OP and I'm even more terrified now.

It makes me question why I continue to work or pursue an education. It makes me question my very existence.

I'm young. I know people who love and care about me and I love and care about them. I want to believe that they and their children will grow up to have good futures. The prospect that me and they might not horrifies me to my very core.

I believe in hope because it's what keeps me going. When I see people telling other people to give up hope and "not have kids", I see it as an attack on one of my reasons to live. That's why I get angry and spout my "mindless" hope.

I don't want to fall into a depressed state where I would end up alienating the people around me. That's why I choose to believe. Believe in carbon capture technology. Believe in the growth of renewable energy. Believe that a solution may one day be found.

Because otherwise, what is honestly the point in me living? How can I honestly live with myself and others just sitting down and accepting that the lives of the ones I love are all going to head to disaster because of climate change?

I can't accept that. I just CAN'T. No matter what people say the probable outcome is, I can't accept it.

Rewards progranm - let's be honest, old games can be great but forgotten. Sometimes people need a push to realize they like something they didn't know about. I suggest a rewqrds program that rewards you for completing ps2 titles. For each game you complete you will receive one playstation point. For each game you get all trophies in two points total

With the points you can buy more games, artwork, themes etc

Theme - three points
New game - Five points

We typically see the attach rate of games on consoles bothering that high on average, especially casuals. With an emphasis on play, rewards and community placement. I believe they can not only do well but be enjoyed by many that never expected to try more games.

Giving away games for completion seems like something that could be fun and sell a lot more games. For every two you get for free you had to at least buy 8 games and complete them. With a pricing structure of five to 7 dollars, I think this could have a big impact on overall sales and spark a ton of needed releases

My dream scenario would be for a big revamp in releases with hundreds of titles released for 2.99 with a special playing area visualizer with old commercials, art, new interviews and online play for games like socom etc

So the gamers Christmas is a little over a month away and I'm hyped as hell. I even had a dream about it last which I have never had before. So I want to know before leaks start habbening just how hyped you are in general?

Some people still think there is "true gaming" and "fake gaming"

And it pisses me off. I just read some posts on a facebook page saying that 52% of gamers are women. These posts (that got a ton of like) told that mobile games are not real games. Aside from the blatant sexism, I really can't understand how people can say there is two gaming style, and one is worse than the others, how are we still stuck with such backwards thoughts ? Games are still seen as a "inferior hobby" by some people and "gamers" can do better than decide what is good gaming or bad gaming. What really makes an AAA game obviously better than a mobile game or to an extend, a casual game such as "Wii Sports" ? The only thing that is objectively better in AAA game is the production value, but that doesn't mean the game will be good. And in the other hand, it's not because a game is directed towards the "casual gamers" (godamnit I hate these words) means it will be to simplistic or bad, Mario Kart is a perfect example for that. What I mean is : looking down on people playing mobile and casual games should stop, I cannot believe it still exists.
