Side effect of ronapocalypse has been some truly great streams, many of them for charity. The Beyond streams last weekend were amazing, there is one for Countdown this weekend and a MASSIVE online fest next weekend from B&L etc.

I was hoping that the Tidal livestream would be, you know, LIVE, but they are just showing replays of live performances (so yes it's technically live, but about as live as an AC/DC concert from the 80s. It already happened). That's fine in and of itself. I'd rather have this kind of makeshift on the spot kind of livestream like you just showed up in someones room .

edit: Also, Tidal doesn't have a volume slider on their player

Guano Apes cover of Big-in-Japan was my first rare find on Napster, right as it was booming. I realized music discovery could be a whole different category of software. A few years later, Pandora came out, and I was in love. Then the music cartel lobbied congress and additionally made internet streaming royalties more expensive than radio broadcast, and suddenly I had nothing.
