I guess yeah, but I played some of these FMV game back in the day. Dragons Lairs. Burn Cycle.

They were easy to understand and I just pressed buttons. Like big gimped QTE games (well burn cycle was a bit more maybe).

This one I also have to changed cameras, and change some status codes it seems. But nothing is explained.

I got it on the cheap a while back as well and quickly remembered how bad it was. I think it's worth the $2 as a piece of history? I can see one day drinking and playing it...we couldn't be bothered past 10 mins or so at the time and haven't yet but who knows. 

Imagine all of the Christmases this game ruined back in the day.

I always thought being a SEGA fan as a kid was playing Russian Roulette.
I remember the SEGA kid next door had his Christmas ruined often.

LEGO and Nintendo were sure bets.

PC was even worse though. Sometimes games would be broken as fuck for no reason on a certain configuration, run like shit or they weren't fun at all.
Rayman 2 on PC had a disk read error halfway through the game. A giant pirate head would cover the entire screen. That still gives me nightmares and to my knowledge was never patched.
There was also games with cool names and cool boxes, that turned out to be educational shit or whatever. Plus tons and tons of demo's and shareware that were quite expensive.
It didn't feel bad at all to Pirate PC games pre-Steam.

There goes the last hope anyone could've had for a proper narrative in this dumpster fire   Graphical fidelity still looks great, but every other game these days does this paper gag anyway. Tearaway, Yoshi, Sackboy... who cares. Anyone can make this paper style look good with modern hardware. However, not everybody can make tight RPGs like the og Paper Marios, so way to choose the wrong focus for this series.

Meh, but I guess you're right. First trailer looked good to me, but the dumb bosses make me suspect that the world building overall just won't be on the level of the first two games.

Nintendo is not refunding if you bought the wrong Pokemon DLC. Apparently you have to select the DLC for either Sword or Shield on purchase and many fans hurrying through the process picked poorly.
