Bought murder by numbers. Just played the first 10 minutes but already in love with the music. Not so sure about the scenario but we'll see. But picross plus great music is already a winning combination (the s series is really lacking when it comes to music) and I'm sure some story will be great for a change.

I am on the second case and the game does deal with some "mature" themes for some games - Honor being a divorced STRONG FEMALE, finding Honor's tampon, and such. It's not bad.

There are bonus picross puzzles you can do as well depending on your rank.

I'm on case 4. Really the story hasn't been compelling like it should be for VN I'm just like "yeah yeah yeah, shut up and give me more puzzles" It's rather transparent who the killer is, so far I knew 3 for 3 who the culprit was long before the big reveal. Still a fun picross game. Also a lot of its inclusiveness in really hamfisted. On case 3 I literally spent more time hearing about how to properly gender someone than I did hearing about the victim.

They're really good- you not liking the genre is another story.    I also liked One Piece Burning Blood- it's an arena fighter like Naruto, although nowhere near as visually impressive.

I played one of them, got to the final boss and have a checkpoint that was basically at a point in the battle that I had no way of winning so I was like fuck these games.

I liked the old naruto ones that had RPG and fighting styles, I believe it was the first few ninja storm games, after that when it was strictly just fighting those kinda sucked

Rise of the ninja and the broken bond maybe IDK.... The problem with OP games they usually make their own little B story for them and they're usually shit because ODA is probably dead...

Xenoblade 2 is trash. Pretty much the game that told me I'm not inline with the current Japanese game fandom.

Xenoblade 1 is a classic. Probably the best jrpg of the post PS2 gens.

I haven't even tried Xenoblade 2 and could tell you that Xenoblade 1 is better.  The art direction and the character styles, besides them titties, is a fucking nightmare in X2.

Very slow-paced 2D platformer/survival type game.  Not sure if I like it or not- controls take getting used to and it has some cheap deaths.

XB1 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than XB2

Playing Torna expansion for XB2 now and it reminds me how much I dislike the gathering, equipment/accesories, skill/leveling progression, way quests are done and I don't even like the battle system very much. Very slow and dull. You're either too strong and you win or you're too weak and you lose against any enemy/enemy group.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was quite different and not as good as Xenoblade Chronicles 1.

With that said I'm not sure how XB1 has aged. A lot of stuff that made it impressive back then such as the large overworld are no longer as special.
I also found that the character models even in this remake look sorta weird. The Smash Bros. Ultimate Shulk model looks way better.

So I dunno, one on hand I'm a big Xenoblade fan on the other I'm not sure if this game is worth it anymore or if I should just keep my fond memories of Xenoblade Chronicles alive.

Eh, the over world may have been done elsewhere, but XB1''s is still very good. I mean it still feels expansive enough to not feel cheap and the scale and wonder of it being on big giant robot gods hasn't been matched.  I also think Xb2's battle system is a downgrade. It feels slower, overly complicated, and has a stupid gotcha system tied to it. While XB1 is a pretty simple to grasp tank, dps, healer system that really works, feels well paced, has'nt really been followed up on, and allows for some deeper playing around if you want to.

Xenoblade 1 is a real classic.

I didn't really like all the sidequest stuff in XB1, there was always ten million quests to do and the reward to effort level wasn't great since there were so many of them. I've attempted to play the game a few times but I've never figured out why people claim it is an all time classic. The world design is cool though.

I'm probably day 1 on Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, I was long done with Wii by the time it finally dropped in the west and have always wanted to play it.

I wanted to like Xenoblade 2 but there were so many things working against it. Namely, the whole blade system... gatcha style getting of rare blades. Needing to grind affinity to unlock blade sidequests. Dispatch missions (I don't get WHY devs put this shit in games... it's not fun in FFT, MGS5, or any other game). Having to constantly switch around your party to meet the environmental challenges. A super linear back-half of the game. Questionable character designs.

Music was fantastic though, I liked the combat system, and Torna was all the good elements of XB2 distilled into a 20 hour game.

Xenoblade X though, that's the real black sheep of the series. Even if it had the most captivating, open ended world out of maybe any RPG. (and the soundtrack was fucking awesome)
