Like I just said, just dance is only 20 bucks. There’s a sweat mode, dancing is real good exercise + free unlimited with over 500 songs. foh with that ring

I see you cheating on NH with dat bitch :ufup

Lol it’s fun and I’m letting my step son count it as some of his physical activity for distance learning. I’m at the stage in NH where I hit my dailies and check prices mostly, been playing since launch straight!!

Okay, gonna buy a switch game with some trump tender, help me pick

A) Diablo 3, again, on sale $30, haven’t played in long enough it would be awesome portable

B) Witcher 3, again, full price but I didn’t get very far on Xbox, switch might be nicer to pop in on this game

C) Pokemon Shield, full price, stepson has sword, and I haven’t really dug into a Pokemon since red tbh

D)Ni No Kuni, $30, never played, been a long time since I’ve played this kind of rpg, looks cute

E)Write in option
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Astral Chain

Link's Awakening

What games do you have?

Of your choices, I'd go Diablo or wait for Xenoblade Chronicles remaster. Links Awakening is a hella solid choice too.

Have a feeling this won’t be the last game I buy as I grasp for my sanity. That cute anime one still might get me too

Haha I'm just joshing, I've slowed down too. :D

In fact I'll probably be resuming some of my other games shortly, probably after Friday's party.

For me, I'm looking to probably get one of these:

- Bayo 1/2
- DMC 1/3
- Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection
- Pokemon Shield (niece has Sword, so similar boat as you, I'm also burnt out of the series rn)
- Phoenix Wright Trilogy

I want to get Link's Awakening, Tropical Freeze, NSMBU, and Luigi's Mansion 3, but not looking to drop $60 a bunch...

I did just buy DBZ Xenoverse 2 and is unplayed, as is RE5 (been slowly making my way through RE4 first.) So I guess I don't need to spend anything right now. :thinking

Same thing happened to me in Luigi's Mansion 2. It was a phenomenal upgrade to the first but I didn't get very far in it.

Dragon Quest 11 or either of the Builders games (the latter if you want a more directed Minecraft game with DQ aesthetics and trappings) will keep you busy for a while too. And when it comes out, Cold Steel 3.

Fucking incredible. Might buy a Mario Maker game now.

Lots of content for the final update!

Quote
In World Maker mode, multiple courses created by a user can be tied together on a path from the starting point on a world map to the end castle. The look of the world map can also be customized. Up to eight worlds containing a total of up to 40 courses can be combined, creating a mini Super Mario game that can be shared with others.*

In addition to World Maker, guess who else is making an appearance in Super Mario Maker 2? The Koopalings! All seven of these troublemakers, each with his or her own movement pattern, can be added to user-created courses. Other enemies added to the game include the key-chasing Phanto and the wind-up Mechakoopas.

Additional power-ups and course parts are also coming to Super Mario Maker 2 as part of the free update. This includes the SMB2 Mushroom, which transforms Mario and friends into their look from the Super Mario Bros. 2 game and allows them to pick up and throw items and enemies – just like in that classic game! With the Frog Suit from the Super Mario Bros. 3 game, Mario can swim through water with ease, and even run across its surface! Other power-ups added to the game are the Power Balloon first introduced in the Super Mario World game, the Super Acorn from the New Super Mario Bros. U game and the Boomerang Flower from Super Mario 3D World. There are also five variations for wearables like the Cannon Box and Propeller Box from the Super Mario 3D World game.

All of this and more can be experienced by downloading the free update on April 22.

Can Prime Trilogy just throw in Hunters as a bone to the two of us who like it :doge

It can't take much, that game reused assets like a mofo. :doge

Like, to differentiate it from the original version released a decade ago? Prime Trilogy is old hat at this point... Would be cool if like with the Wizard of Oz getting re-released they just keep adding content each time along with cleaning up the picture and sound quality.

On resetera there's speculation that a direct was broken up and they're drip feeding the news instead. Makes sense with this huge update for Mario maker 2 out of nowhere. I imagine Nintendo doesn't know which games they can get ready at what point this year (Corona is at least somewhat of a problem in japan which could be detrimental to their development schedules), so they will probably reveal what games they definetly have ready while the couple of bigger surprises will remain a secret longer than planned.

Prime 2 and 3 were so uneven that if you picked the first half of Prime 2 up until the completion of sanctuary fortress and stitch the latter half of Prime 3 (sky city) at the end you'd probably have a better game.

I mostly think it went downhill a bit because Retro lost their Quake / Half Life / Turok alumni.
You could sense that tight design DNA in Prime 1 and less so in the sequels.

The original concept for Metroid Prime 3 sounded great and they should've made that game.
But Nintendo wanted baby Metroid FPS for their new motion toys instead which was a decent game but not as great as it could've been.
