The Hillary victory fund was pretty well known during the primary. I’m not sure why Donna Brazile acts like she discovered it.
People were saying it was unfair in like April or March of 2016. I think somecalled it “money laundering” (its not) and some state parties complained that it didn’t really help them much because 90% of the funds ended up got no to Hillarys campaign.
It was kind of scummy though, IMO and it’s unusual to set that up prior to winning the primary. It dsgould have never happened. But DWS was incompetent, and Obama, for all his personal charms was not very good for the party as a whole. He was good at campaigning for himself, and that’s about it.
Also, no discussion on the republican tax “plan” which doesn’t seem to actually be a plan yet. It’s just a set of policy priorities, with nothin set on where the rates are set. The deduction changes won’t screw me over too badly, I don’t think. But it’s hard to say. Needless to say I don’t think I’ll see a huge tax cut.
