The Senate voted 63-37 to have floor debate on a bill to cut off military support to Saudi Arabia in Yemen.

The actual bill might not pass and I think it's meant to be DOA in the current House, but still a hopeful sign. 10 Dems voted against last time it came up and every one of them switched to a yes.

Unlike other Presidents Trump doesn't really care about a government shutdown. That's why it didn't work last time when the Democrats threatened to shutdown the government.

August 25, 2017: Trump is threatening a government shutdown. Here’s what that looks like.

September 1, 2017: Trump pulls back threat to shut down government over border wall

February 6, 2018: Trump threatens government shutdown if Congress doesn't fix immigration laws

April 28, 2018: Trump threatens government shutdown in September if there's no funding for wall

July 29, 2018: Trump threatens again to shut down federal government over border-wall funding

September 5, 2018: Trump backs off government shutdown threat ahead of elections: report

Even if Roger told Donald that he knew about the Podesta leaks in advance that is just part of the pile of bullshit that Roger has crafted for InfoWars.
It seems that for once their bullshit panned out.  :lol

Before Roger started talking about Podesta's e-mails it was already known by the pepes and 4chan as they were 'counting down' towards release.
Everyone could feel something 'big' was about to drop with Assange openly trashing Hilldawg on Twitter.

Alex and Roger amplified it but like with most other theories, they didn't come up with it.

Sen. Tim Scott will oppose Thomas Farr to be a District Court judge, effectively killing the nomination on the Senate floor.

In a statement on Thursday afternoon, Scott cited "lingering concerns about issues that could affect [Farr's] decision-making process as a federal judge" in opposing Farr. It was a reference to Farr's alleged connection to former Sen. Jesse Helms' intimidation campaigns against black voters.

So basically Trump admitted that
A) he never expected to win
B) he didn't want to win
C) it was all a con/joke that got entirely out of hand  :lol
D) he was just doing some very legal very cool things with the Russians

And seeing as how Putin behaves this G20... yes he most definitely has a tape.
Who knows. CNN might have it too on Christmas day after all very cool & very legal.  :teehee

Taken literally, the leader of the House Republicans saying he doesn't understand how elections work in a state where they just lost seven seats would be a pretty damning confession. Maybe he could have asked someone before the midterms.

Of course he doesn't really mean that. He just wants to imply that there was fraud without having to come out and say so.

Ryan's had his for a few years. At one point it actually started to look like a normal beard just before he became Speaker.

RIP H.W. Bush

He should've never told his 5 year old: "Sure son, you can be a president someday."
But his decision to turn on a murderous dictator was the right one. Not to mention that the off mic interviews give a great insight in the man and his psyche.
He really seemed to 'care' about the well being of others.

He will be missed and probably wouldn't have abolished welfare and bank regulations during his second term for a few quarters from Wall Street plus a blowjob like Clinton had.
In hindsight the "Third way" politicians never considered any future consequences and the 'outsider populist' advantage in modern politics really began with Clinton and Tony Blair.

Plans for a party celebrating the 25-year anniversary of Rudy Giuliani becoming the mayor of New York City are “fizzling out” because the 74-year-old politico is “too toxic,” according to a source who was invited.

Ideally, the fete was to have taken place at the New York Hilton hotel where Giuliani celebrated his election win in November 1993. Organizers were aiming for early January.

“They wanted it to be around when he took office,” that source said.

When Giuliani became mayor in January 1994, he did so as the first New York Republican elected to that office since 1965. The GOP held the office for another 20 years after his win.

“Rudy wanted it to appear to come together organically,” according to that source, who said the mayor left party-planning responsibilities to associates who struggled to find supporters willing to pay for tickets.
Quote
According to Giuliani, he’s heard nothing about an anniversary bash in early 2019.

“If there was a party for me, it was a surprise party,” he said. “I don’t know anything about a party. If you find something out, let me know.”

Anyone closely following this NC Congressional race?

Republican won by a small margin but the election board hasn't certified it and is investigating because of alleged mail-in ballot shenanigans. Apparently there were similar concerns in the GOP primary.
