Dude raised his hands and didn't start talking. Moderators had no control of the room, and of course they didn't call on him. Yang didn't read the room and kept on thinking it wasn't going to be a free for all, when it was and the more experienced candidates who actually know how NBC works understood that. Even Gillibrand who at several times did exactly of interrupting and talking over other people did that to say jack shit. Maryanne Williamson who was right next to Yang did that shit as well. It's Yang's fault that he didn't more air time.

Even then, he got to talk about UBI for a couple of minutes, he'll be back in July barring any last minute shenanigans to shift people on the margins out to get somebody like Montana Governor Steve Bullock on the debate stage and he has a decent shot at being on the debate stage for August and September.
